A 10-second exposure inside Anthony McCall’s amazing “You and I Horizontal”
When you look past the garish tourist booths lining the boardwalk, there is a timeless air to the beach. It’s as if you’re experiencing it the same way your parents did thirty years ago. Salty lips, dense sun, and the welcome companionship of overly-tanned seniors in speedos.
This window faces south on the third floor of the National Portrait Gallery. I am in love with it. At least, as much as a man can love melted sand and cut trees.

I was browsing Deezer and came across the artist SoKo. Although the lyrics of the song were a bit off-putting, I dug the energy of SoKo’s “I’ll Kill Her”.
